Rails that are to be handled are done by using "centralized hoist synchronization" process.it can be done by single operator by using computers and cameras.
Individual hoists can also be operated if required by using remotes and also from cabin
At a max. 4 hoists can be operated using remote control.
for lifting of 20 RP rail panels total 38 hoists available with a spacing of 7.5 m.
To define the exact location, barcoding is provided on the web of I-section of span.
Bottom trollies can also be operated from cabin. barcoding also provided as above.
Hoists are provided with Grippers in-order to avoid lateral misalignment while lifting.
And grippers are provided to hold the rail panel.
While loading of 20 RP panels, 2 men are provided to ensure proper placing of panel in rake.
Grippers are provided with jaws and electrically operated.
For lifting 20 RP panels 2 Grippers are provided and for lifting of free rails 130 m 4 grippers are provided.
In case of failure of any hoist, it can be bypassed and continue the synchronize with remaining hoists.
Incase of continuously hoists gets failed, then work will stopped.
To complete the loading of rake it takes 5-6 hours.
